ASNT Certification for NDT
ASNT Certification is regarded as the most recognized credential for NDT (Non Destructive Testing).
This course provides students a synopsis of non-destructive and destructive evaluation methods that are used in evaluation of welds. This includes understanding the basic principles of various NDT methods, fundamentals, discontinuities in different product forms, importance of NDT, applications, limitations of NDT methods and techniques and codes, standards and specifications related to non-destructive testing technology. Students also will be introduced to relevant quality assurance and quality control requirements in accordance with ASQ, ASME, and ANSI standards.
ASNT Certification ( Levels of Qualification)
ASNT Level 2 Certification in NDT Testing methods
NDT Level 2 certified personnel must have the skills and knowledge for setting up and calibrating equipment, to conduct non destructive tests, to interpret, evaluate & document the results in accordance with procedures approves by a Level 3 certified personnel.
NDT Level 2 personnel must be familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods in which they have certified.
Level II must be capable of directing the work of trainees and NDT Level I personnel. NDT Level II is also expected to organize and report Nondestructive test results.
