NACE CIP Level 1 and Level 2 – Coating Inspector Program

The acronym NACE stands for National Association of Corrosion Engineers. NACE is the premier organization regulating corrosion control solutions globally with more than 35,000 members and spanning across 130 countries.

NACE Coating Inspector Program (NACE CIP) educates you on coating materials and how to prepare the surface of the materials and apply coating.

A NACE CIP Level 1 certified coating inspector is eligible to conduct basic coating inspections on steel substrates using NDT techniques.

Who should attend the NACE CIP certification program?

Even though the NACE CIP program is intended for coating inspector trainees, anyone who requires a better understanding of coating applications and inspections can get certified to improve their career.

  • Project managers
  • Engineers
  • QA/QC managers
  • Coating manufacturers
  • Technical sales representatives
  • Paint applicators
  • Maintenance personnel

These are some of the people who can have a career boost with NACE CIP certification.

How much does NACE certification cost?

The exam fee for NACE CIP Level 1 and 2 is $2500. The examination fee is the same for NACE CIP everywhere around the world. In Indian rupees it will cost around INR 1,86,482.00

When you apply for an exam that costs this much it is always a good idea to prepare for the same and make sure you clear the same in the very first attempt.

Gamma NDT Academy offers preparatory classes that will help you clear the NACE CIP level 1 and level 2 exams. We have a 100% success rate for all our previous students.

If you are planning to attend the NACE CIP examination, we highly recommend you to take a preparatory course for the same.

How long does NACE CIP certification last?

NACE CIP certifications are valid for 3 years. After 3 years you have to renew the certificate. The renewal process is a lot easier, you don’t have to go through the exams again and spend a hefty amount to get renewed.

The NACE CIP certification renewal is a simple process which you can initiate remotely.
